2013 – People of the Cayos

In July 2013 I worked as a diving staff member for Operation wallacea (Opwall) on the Cayos Cochinos, a small island group in Honduras. The island we stayed on is a natural reserve that gets overtaken by an invasive species of enthusiast scientists, students and diving staff members every summer. This is a photo project about these people, the lovely main characters of this ‘Robinson Crusoe’ adventure on an inhabited island in the Caribbean.

Meet Tony, Kathy, Asier, Tim, Githa, Rachel, Carlos, Dan, Tess, Ben, Frank, Bradley, Maurico, Phill, Amber, Dan, Fern, Jo, Sher and myself.

…Porites Porites!

All the pictures where taken with an analog pinhole camera (Holga) and 120 film format.

DAE Robot

The major I teach in for the past 7 years moved to a new building in Kortrijk, Flanders, called ‘the Level’. A brand new building dedicated to education of 3D, games, VFX and 3D animation. For the occasion, during a workshop, led by my friend Peter, a giant robot was build by our students. Off…

I submitted one of my drawings to thread less in the hope to be printed on T-shirts. Fingers crossed! It’s selected! Yey! Vote on my design on threadless!

Some 5-10min figure drawing sketches

Sometimes I have the time (5-10min) to make a sketch or two while the students are busy drawing the longer poses. Keeps the fingers in shape 🙂 Big thx to Celine, our model for three weeks, who was doing a wonderful job and took beautiful poses very naturally.

2009 – Indonesia

The country is so big, thousands of different islands and cultures. If you go, don’t take the tourist trail, it’s too easy to get trapped in it 🙂 Some of my 120 slides are visible under the category photography. Click here. More on my Lomography pages; here and here. Enjoy

2002 – Old Portfolio’s

From 2002 till 2006, I created several portfolio websites for myself. It was the time of those Flash websites with animated menus and annoying static html structures. While goofing around with dreamweaver and flash, I learned a lot of new things…
